Happy baby
A playful lying stretch for the hips and inner thighs, holding your feet or shins.
How to do it
- Lie on your back and bring knees toward armpits.
- Hold the outside of your feet or shins.
- Keep your lower back on the floor.
Remember
Rock side to side if it feels good.
Take care
Hold your shins instead if your feet are out of reach.
Ask a professional first if you have:
- a pregnancy (after about 16 weeks, don’t lie on your back or belly for long, and twist only gently)
- a hip replacement (deep hip bending, crossing the legs or turning the knee inward)
Stretch gently and never into pain. StretchUp gives general guidance and is not a medical device.
