How to do it

  1. Start on hands and knees, hands slightly ahead of your shoulders.
  2. Tuck your toes and lift your hips up and back.
  3. Press the floor away and let your head hang between your arms.

Remember

Hips high, heels sinking toward the floor.

Take care

Keep your knees bent if your back rounds or your calves are tight.

Ask a professional first if you have:

  • glaucoma, or high blood pressure that isn’t well controlled (head below the heart)

Stretch gently and never into pain. StretchUp gives general guidance and is not a medical device.
